Chai Shen Yeh Is Coming To Town
Fyi, Chai Shen is the God Of Wealth. And he is gonna pay me and my family a visit this midnight :) When I was young, staying up till 12am is something to look forward to. It only happened once a year, that was only for the eve of CNY, we stay up to welcome the new year. But now, it’s nothing coz sleeping at 2 or 3am or (or even at 6am) has become a normal thing haha.
Do you know realize another new thing? I dunno about you all, but to me it is new and diff than before. Last time, we din have ‘advance’ sms for cny, ny, xmas and stuff. But now, these advance ones are becoming more and more popular among us all, we send them in advance to avoid the midnight traffic.
Speaking about this, I have received quite abit from frens. And it feels nice to get these smses coz it means you do have frens. I even received from frens I haven’t heard for a long time since convocation. Sad thing is, I’m still waiting for this particular fren’s sms. It has been a few months adi. I wonder how long he will need to clear his head and be frens with me again man :-( Besides, I have also juz received one from the guy I blog about previously in one of the posts. You know, the one who called me for like so many times in a day? Erm…I had to become ‘chou ren’ (ugly ppl) and turned him down somehow. Sighh. He doesn’t seem to take rejections well though. It ended kinda ugly. He said I’m too rushed in making decision. (Hello?? I am not) At first I thought maybe he needed time to get over it or whatever, but when I wished him on new year day, his reply including some suicidal stuff and also said things like he won’t appear in my life anymore bla bla bla. Well, was a bit geram la, can’t understand why some guys are like that wan, hmmm this kind of guys still exist wan ar? I was thinking, fine la, if you dun want to be friends, I cannot do anything also, not say I trying to avoid you or what in the first place, so up to you la.
Well, it IS hard to say no, but after doing so, I felt sooo relief hahaha. I was happy that I dun get anymore notification msg from maxis telling me I have how many miscalls. I guess when a guy calls tooo many times, it gets kinda annoying. Hmm perhaps calling too many times is not the main reason for that la, it could be the lacking of smth like the missing feelings. Agree? Yeah I guess so. Btw, I learnt one thing from this. I’m enjoying being single, I love freedom and I can’t really stand having to tell where I am, what I’m doing and stuff. So, I dunno if I’m ready for any commitment yet hahahaha.
Eh why am I telling stories here man. Ok, my main point is about the wishes he sent. Since he said he won’t want to appear in my life and stuff, why now cakap lain, buat lain?
A fren said he might be drunk when he said those things and din mean it. I dun think so. Besides, guess I won’t be sending any back to him. Do you ppl think I should? Of coz I’d want to stay frens with him but I’m afraid I’d give him summore hope. Who knows rite.
Anyway, I was supposed to visit the home of the handicapped child few days ago but I didn’t as my manager was coming along and there’s some slight change of transportation. Sigh. Work is still ok...have delegated some tasks for the trainee to do while me, my supervisor and another gal are off for our cny break. I wonder if she can handle them while we’re not around though. And I hope I wont need to go back there, hopefully nothing urgent will come up. No gua?

Oh yeah, they said fireworks are banned, seems like no diff leh…A usual, the nightmare had started again..my neighours kids are back with their fireworks thingy. Bom here, bom there..oh gosh!

Miscellaneous Update
Being a supervisor for about a week now, I have to say it is nice to have someone to assist me. Very cool ;p Well, I have to say also that I’m not that used to telling ppl what to do and when I want it done hehe. I mean I’m new myself, you see. But hey, I have planned what task to delegate to her already for next week. My manager doesn’t want to see her free and shake leg man, so if we do not assign her any things to do, we’re in trouble. Serious! Anyway, this is a good practice for me to learn about becoming a supervisor and the way a supervisor talks and treats his/her subordinate, eventhough I dun treat her as one, instead as more to a friend
I want to play FUTSAL!!! But I can’t as 29th Jan will be the 1st day of CNY. My company is organizing inter-department (I think) futsal game and damn most of us will be going for our cny break that time. What a bad planning man! Sigh..hopefully there will be such event again in the future. This is where I would have kaki ok :p
Anyway, do u ppl know of a short numa numa video clip that has been passing around in the internet? It is a video by MMU 2005 OCs? 3 of them ‘berlawak’ using webcam while playing the song ‘Numanuma’? It is damn funny man. *Applause to our MMU students*
Guess what I have done my rebonding yesterday at a saloon in my taman and it costs me RM100. The previous saloon would still charge me for RM80 but I chose to pay an additional RM20 at a diff saloon. I wanted to try out the diff type of cream they use and see if it will stay straighter longer since the aunty said it’s a good imported cream from Japan. (Hmm I wonder how true the statement holds) But I’m willing to pay a RM20 to find out *wink* And I luv my silky straight hair very much now, (ahem ahem hahahahalol) ;p
One more week to go before the celebration of Chinese New Year, ppl. Woohoo, what excites me the most? My brand new pants, skirts and tops are really tempting. It has alwiz been like that for me since young hahaha. I can’t wait to put them on, syioknya. I have stopped shopping (erm is it?) I dun dare to guarantee anything coz after blogging, I will most likely to go to Tesco’s Thailand fair with my mom and sis. So whether or not smth attractive will catch my eye, I wouldn’t know hahaha. The best thing about working is the spending power I possess, it has never been this ‘rewarding’ hehehe. Dun worry I still manage to save up a lot (in my definition, a lot=reasonable) every month.
Can’t wait to visit frens I haven’t seen for some time adi, most importantly can’t wait to have fun! Btw, remember the cookies I helped my aunt to sell? It all sums up to 30 bottles altogether. What an achievement hahaha.
Let me see, what to look forward to next week. Monday will be boring and moodless as usual. Oh yeah there will be an EHS (environment, health and safety) audit in Feb and I plan to finish the pending EHS tasks before cny. I dun wan it to bother me during CNY, having to worry about it sucks. My collegues from various departments are planning for a trip to visit the home of the mentally retarded kids in Bkt Baru next fri, to have simple lunch with them and stuff. My supervisor asked me if I want to join in and if I’m afraid of them. I wanna go eventhough I’m a tad afraid!! Not that they’re gonna bite me I know but somehow..ermm..I dunno how to say la. But then again this is a good chance to go to such places coz I dun think I would go there on my own. Maybe I can learn smth from the trip too, who knows. It’s gonna be CNY soon and I wanna do all I could to make their day. Will see how the planning goes. I really hope it will work out.
I’m currently watching this Taiwanese idol series ‘王子变青蛙’ (Trans=Prince becoming a frog). I didn’t rent or buy the whole vcd set man, my sis borrowed it from her frens. You know, Taiwanese boy band and girl band is famous for their series, and this one is also a recommended one, other than ‘MVP Valentine’ (basketball plus romance series, too cool to be true) You know, these actors and actresses are from 5566, SHE, 183 Club, 7 flowers, and some others. This latest one I’m hooked onto, is about a very rich and cun company director who lost his memories in one accident while he is on his way to his wedding engagement. He was saved by a girl whose dream is to get married to a rich guy. Somehow, romance blossoms between 2 of them and one day, he met with another accident and he regains his memories (memories b4 the 1st accident, who he was and stuff) but forgets about his savior and all the romance that took place when he lost his memories back then. Will he rmb this gal again, if so what about his fiancée? What about his PA who also fell in love with the gal? Which guy will the gal chooses in the end? Fuiyoh…let’s just see. Kan jeong betul…
Every single episode will get me red eyes. *Ooops* Really, Taiwanese stories are kinda artificial, and they can make it so perfect as if a guy can be soooo romantic and so perfect haha. The script is WAY TOO GOOD it makes you touched and cry with it. Sumore the actors are so smart, so handsome sial…Wahh I also wanna go search for my smart, handsome, cute, intelligent prince di la like that.
What else to update? 8tv Malaysia’s Most Beautiful. Those who actually watch it, are you having the same thought I have? How can that gal name Jessy be the top 2? I only started watching it 2 weeks ago when they’re down with the top 4. Jessy has an unbelievably high confidence that somehow makes me use the word ‘menyampah’. Wahahaha…she likes saying “ I know I’m the most beautiful, I’m gonna win this title 100%, ppl wil vote for me….” Oh my gosh, tak malu ke talk like that on national tv?Daniel so cute also never say he thinks he’s cute and the gals will vote for him and he will sure win Like the other eliminated contestants said..if she wins, Malaysians are blind. Too bad, I have to agree.

Working and Shopping
I miss Daniel’s autograpth session in mp yesterday :-( My fren, Kamao informed me about it and too bad I couldn’t make it there..sob sob sob. Stay positive, I know I will have my chance to meet him some day hehe. Let’s juz hope MMU’s clubs/societies would invite him for whatever function in the future. Or maybe a second autograph session who knows…
Anyway, guess what? My supervisor told me this morning that she will let someone report to me. Yay…there will be somebody reporting to me adi at work starting from Wed onwards hehehe. Good thing is…I will be a supervisor to her; not-so-good thing is….that’s only for 3 months. Hahaha :)) She is a Malay girl, graduated from some uni and had registered with the government to look for jobs or smth and is assigned to Cubic. Then somehow ended up in my department, the best of all…my division. She will be doing filling and those data entry I suppose. I dunno, I have yet to assign her with things to do. *ahem ahem* Juz hopefully she is able to assist me in certain tasks. Update more later hehe.
It’s gonna be a day off tomorrow..woohoo ;p Let me see..what shall I do then. Hmm sleep all day? Blog all day? Watch tv all day? Out whole day? I wanna put an end to my cny shopping man, I rather finish it as soon as possible so that I won’t be thinking “oh I still lack of smth smth…oh I haven’t bought this and that yet…” Well, come to think of it again, that’s the fun part though. Cny preparation is supposed to be that way…busy busy busy, isn’t it?
As weeks go by and after making several short shopping trips, my shopping list has become shorter now, I wonder if that is smth to be sad or happy about hahaha. Sad I suppose. Shopping is fun afterall ;p Guess I would still need to make one or two more trips to really complete my cny shopping man. I’m waiting for Vincci or Nose to display their latest new arrivals for heels! Bring them on quick *wink*
Actually from this point onwards, I typed it after work, in fact after my Jusco trip hehe. I GOT A HEEL ALREADY!! It’s a new arrival from my beloved Vincci hahaha. It’s really worth it man…first the fella told me to apply a RM10 membership card which entitles me for a RM10 voucher for first buy. So the heel I bought is off RM10. That will then mean the card is for free already. Then beside the discounted RM10, there is another extra 20% off the original price. One word to describe the whole thing…Wow!!
The weird thing is..whenever I beria-ria wanna go shopping and buy stuff, I usually din manage to get anything but when I saje pigi and tengok-tengok sikit (a lil bit less beria-ria I mean) I would have bought some really nice stuff ;p Spontaneous works huh! I went to Jusco with my family while waiting for my sis for she went to study in MMU’s library. I wanted to get myself a watch most of all coz I saw some nice ones the last time I was there hehe. Then the second ‘mission’ was to buy a maroon color jumper in one of the shops, mana tau the color wasn’t there anymore. Maybe out of stock, or maybe I ‘rabun warna’ when I saw it hanging there not long ago hahaha. Went to Vincci, this particular one really caught my attention..i luv it straight away. Asked for the price and stuff, tried it on and I bought it. Surprisingly, it took me only like 10 to 15 mins to decide on the purchase. A fren who once accompanied me to buy a pair heel about 2 months ago must be surprised by this info though. Hey fren…really, it only took me such short time this round hehe..unlike previously. This is “The Intensity of Attraction” wahahahaha~ So far, this heel is my most fave cny item ;p

Besides, each of us in Cubic was given a ‘Creative Zen Neeon’ standing calendar. It was kinda cool though. But I went to Guardian the other day and this is what I get. A cuter, cooler one…It juz brightens up my day at work somehow...perhaps a bit.
I miss my long hair..sob sob. I went to trim my hair again last week and it’s not as straight anymore after I had it layered!! Most probably I would go do rebonding the bottom half of my hair again before cny.

Besides, each of us in Cubic was given a ‘Creative Zen Neeon’ standing calendar. It was kinda cool though. But I went to Guardian the other day and this is what I get. A cuter, cooler one…It juz brightens up my day at work somehow...perhaps a bit.
I miss my long hair..sob sob. I went to trim my hair again last week and it’s not as straight anymore after I had it layered!! Most probably I would go do rebonding the bottom half of my hair again before cny.
I was kemas-ing my room and my house a lil bit the other day and I was kinda surprise to have found a piece of paper, in my pencil case that has been left abandoned for a while. Never I expected to see that paper there. Find out what is written on it…soon ;p Stay tuned pals..see ya.

1st Spanking New Year Weekend
I had a few options on where to spend new year’s eve. My options varied from going to KL for countdown then spent the night in KLIA, to going to PureBar to having a quiet one at home…and well that was what I have decided on, ie staying at home watching DANIEL LEE’s (Malaysian Idol) performances on tv ;p He is still as cute hehe.
While everybody was out celebrating till the late hours, I was like already in bed at about 1am hahaha. I wanted to go out partying but somehow was not really in da mood…guess I was exhausted from that day’s work. Actually, on that day itself during lunch hour, my manager drove me and my colleagues to Pantai Hospital to visit another colleague who had just given birth to a baby boy. Oh mannn…u should see the less-than-24-hours old baby, sooo tiny yet sooo cute…Then after that, my manager ‘tapau’ McD for us…if u get what I mean.
On New Year day, I got up kinda late though, around 11 or 12pm hehehe. Then I finished up my year-end summary blog post, played Metal Slug with my sis and bro (i dunno which version i played, pakai tembak je and mati, tembak a bit then mati lagi...sigh) then off to Jusco for some window-shopping and had dinner with my grandmother, sis and bro in KFC. Why window-shopping coz I couldn’t find anything that interest me well enuf :( Even Vincci (shoe shop) does not have any new arrivals I feel. Maybe soon…
Monday was a public holiday. Together with my mom and sis, we went to my aunt’s house, returning some stuff and looking at my young cousin packing their school bags and pencil case. Do I miss those times? Erm not really. Just look at those bags these kids are carrying…imagine hanging kilograms of burden over your shoulder..mann do u know how heavy is that? Well, we all do coz we had been doing that before afterall. This proves how ignorance the somebody can be ( I duno who to blame this on haha) after all these years children have been carrying ‘rocks’ to school. No solution is seeked, nothing is done. Some schools even banned the students from keeping their books in the drawers, hell I dunno why.
Then I went to Tesco where I ended up buying several pairs of earring keke. Man I luv all these. Juz simply check it out when I use it during CNY most likely, if you gals are wondering what kind I’ve bought.(I might gather all my newly bought items from clothes to earrings, to sunglass, to mascara, to heel, to whatever, take a picture of them and then post it up for fun viewing hehehe) Lunch in Malim, then me and my sis had a hair cut. *sob sob* I’ve never liked hair cuts since small. The longest end of my hair before the cut was so close to reaching my waist, and I broke the record finally. But breaking the record no more, it is now shorter. Luckily there is still ‘leftover’ from the previous rebonding though hahaha.
There goes my weekend…a quiet and relaxing one. I have had enuf of rest and sleep although I’m still feeling sleepy all the time. Guess I’m juz lazy hehe. Back to work on Tue sucked big time…back to work after a long weekend only makes you moodless. I wanna sleeeeep~
Time for smth interesting, well maybe it's a lil bit so. Recently there was this new guy who called me a few times in a day. Anybody would know what his intention is. When I turn on my phone in the morning,there will be a msg from Maxis indicating the number of miscalls I have been getting while I was still sound asleep. Guess what? There will be like 5 or 6 OR even 7 or 8...depending on what time I got up and turn on the phone though. If the line got thru, he'd ask if I have woke up, what I am doing and stuff and if I tell him I'll be going shopping, you bet he will call later to ask how shopping went. I get 'ramalan cuaca' (weather report) also anyway. As if I dunno it's gonna rain wahahahaha, but it's a nice thing someone can do :-) Tell you more about this guy in the near future. Maybe next post?
